Box 9732, Postal Station \u201cT\u201d<br>Ottawa, Ontario<br>K1G 4G4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Have not received a response from the Director of CSIS within 60 days or are not satisfied with the response you have received.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section id=\"gm2c9dac1\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-m4 section-gm2c9dac1 gutentor-module gutentor-advanced-columns has-color-bg has-custom-bg\"><div class=\"grid-container\"><div class=\"grid-row\">\n<div id=\"col-gmac1bd1\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-m4-col col-gmac1bd1 gutentor-single-column  grid-lg-6 grid-md-12 grid-12\"><div id=\"section-gmac1bd1\" class=\"section-gmac1bd1 gutentor-col-wrap\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mrgn-tp-0\">What you need to know:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You don\u2019t need to pay a fee to submit a complaint<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You don\u2019t need to hire a lawyer or get legal assistance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you decide to seek legal advice, you are responsible for paying your legal fees and associated costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NSIRA is an independent and external review agency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CSIS is the respondent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When NSIRA receives your complaint form and documentation, NSIRA will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Notify you that we have received your complaint<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ask you and CSIS to provide an explanation (in the form of a letter or e-mail) about why you believe NSIRA has the mandate to investigate your complaint.
